Disney Magical Rewards Points and POR

I am planning on using my rewards points when i go this May for my food. I know that I can use them at counter service in the parks but I was wondering if anyone knoew or had personal experience with using them for food in the POR food court???

I've generally had no problem using them anywhere that they would take room charge. But, every now and then the computers have been down (it was a HUGE problem during F&W last year) and I had to resort to a different payment method--like cash.

Just be prepared with a temporary backup.

I think I used mine up at the POR poolside bar so you should be fine at the food court too.

We used our reward points at CBR food court in Jan. You should not have any problems.

Are you talking about the rewards points you get with the Disney Visa?

If so, YEAH, I just got my card in the mail today, and was wondering how I use the points at WDW. I was planning on using them for food, and the brochure states you get a card when you redeem your points for the first time.

Do you just use that card at any food restaurant like you would a credit card or your KTTW card?

I used my card everywhere in WDW. Even to get a Coke at a kiosk. They print out a receipt for you that tells you how much money you have remaining on your card. Only 1 time did they have a problem with the computer and that was getting a beaver tail (guess I won't have that problem now) in Canada.

We were just at POR in February and used our rewards card many times in the food court with no problem. ~~

I have used mine for food, gifts, and spa treatments. It basically works everywhere that I know of except for the Brewery Restaurant on the Boardwalk (can't remember the name). Have a great trip!
