Disney=Amazing.
I can be with my family there, and not be embarrased by them. I can be my wacko self there, because the majority of people there are there to have fun, not judge others.
CMs make my life. There are two really memorable CMs, from my past two trips. In 2004 me and my sibs and cousins met Lance. He was a lifeguard at the boardwalk pool. He was the lifeguard that sat on the slide and told you when to go. He was really funny.
Then, on my trip to SSR in.... 2006... we [me, my sibs, and cousins] met Laoul [another lifeguard] He was in the community center, and we came in. He like... greeted us, and gave us this fun puzzle thing to do. He made fun of us because we couldn't do it
And he gave us stickers when we figured out how to do it
It took us forever to learn it though....
OH! And how could I forget Mike!
Duhh!
During my band trip in Feburary, me and a group of my friends decide to go on ToT a couple of times before we had to go. So, the first time, we go up, Mike was the Bellhop that told you which elevator to go to. So, one of my friends, Jen, was like "You dropped your pocket!" Whatever that means lol.
So Mike's like "I'd laugh if that made sense." So, yeah. We go on ToT again, and we see Mike! So, when we were seated in the elevator, he said "Hold on to your personal belongings and loved ones." So another one of my friends, Ashley, said... "But we love YOU Mike!" He just gave us a weird look and said bye lol. My friend Carly said his breath smelt like salad.
So We go on again. We try to get in Mike's line, but Mike [being the smarty he is
] sent one of his Bellhop Buddies to block us from his line XD. He were like MIIIIKKEEEE! But, we went into the other line. And went on the Mike-less elevator.
This time, when we get off, the bellhop that greets you at the end of the ride, asks us if we want to ride again. Without a doubt, we went. He took us to this little back elevator to take us back up. At first, me and my friend Carly were like, 'uh-oh, what if he isn't really taking us back to the ride, and we got in trouble from Mike?' But we weren't in trouble, and we went back into Mike's line. XD
So, after that time, it was almost time to go back to meet our chaparone. We went to Guest Services and sent a note to Mike's manager and him, saying what a great [and patient] CM he has been. Then, a security guard comes in and sees us writing a compliment. We tell him the Mike story, and he laughs. We finish our note, and we ask the security guard if he knows when Mike's coming out [since ToT is closed for the night]. We followed the security guard out of Guest Services and the security guard sees a Bellhop leaving and asks him when Mike is coming out. The Bellhop said soon. We were excited! Then Mike came! Being girls, we all squealed lol. We ran up to him, and talked, and we told him about the note we left him in Guest Services. He smiled, since he was 'out of character' now. Then, we got our picture taken with him! [It was taken by the security guard lol!]
