On our third cruise we finally found this great in-cabin secret!

We used to unpack, then stuff our empty suitcases on top/inside of the closet and above/around/under the life jackets. On our last cruise we found that our bags fit nicely under the bed, conveniently hidden until the end of the week!

WOW! That really gave us the feeling that we had acquired sooo much extra room!

:-)

Hey NYCdisneyfan,
That is what we usually do with the suitcases too. I was going to post about a week ago a question about the space under the bed. I thought everyone would think I was crazy..so since you brought it up I will ask you!
I just bought a extra large rolling suitcase ( like the ones you carry on but HUGE) It is really deep and I was unsure if it would fit under the bed. How is the space between the floor and the bed pretty deep or skimpy? Thanks for your help if you can remember!-Laurie

I know I had a very deep suitcase. I was able to put my smaller suitcase in my larger suitcase. All I did was lift the bed up a little bit and shoved it in. When I let go of the bed, the bed was back on the floor and my suitcase fit underneath. With the suitcase out of sight, it also made it fell a little bit more like I was back at home!

You may be able to fit your bag....sorry, don't remember the exact dimensions! :-)

It really does make the room feel like home, though!!!! Great point!

We usually store out suitcases under the bed, also. But for the big suitcase (it's only about 9" deep), we usually have to lift the bed frame just a tad to slide it under the frame with all the smaller suitcases neatly tucked inside.

Thanks guys!
I figured I would just jamm it under the bed anyway!
NYC....
My thoughts are with you....yesterday must have been a very solemn day in the city. L

Laurie,
I thought I was cutting down on lugggage by purchasing and extra large suitcase to hopefully only need one bag. It sure fit ALOT of clothing, etc. however, it was almost impossible to lift when necessary. Our towncar driver was not happy. The thing did not fit in the trunk without using tiedowns! Was I embarrassed. I am now back to two midsize bags.

Hey,
Mine is big but not too bad. It fits fine in the trunk of a town car.
Your right you have to watch the weight anything over 70lbs you will be charged overweight bag charges with the airline. L

Well..............
Enough stuff to have a change of clothes morn. noon night........
bathing suits........and shoes galore! You must know my thoughts-
what's the diff if you carry 3bags or 4 !
(hey that's kinda like a poem!)--L :jester:
