Disney Magic Room 6628??

Have any Dis'ers stayed in or near this room ? How was it? how was the noise levels?

I just booked for April 29th, 2006 on the Eastern Carribean Itinerary!


I can't wait for my Cruise!

We were in 6626 for an eastern cruise also. We have only taken 1 cruise, so we have nothing to compare it to.

OK. Noise. No, it was not a noisy stateroom. There was some sort of storage room right across from us (I think it is where the luggage comes and is delivered from there). It was sort of noisy when we arrived and the day we left, but no biggie. The location was very convenient. We usually took the stairs everywhere, but the elevators were nice and close. Not too far from the laundry room. I hope your cruise is great!

I was in 6630 for the West bound Repositioning cruise. It is not very loud at all. Great access to the aft elevator and the back stairs.

There is a storage room right across, but really I did not hear anything. Actually it was easy to find the stateroom hostess and get what ever we needed!

I have stayed more mid-ship on my other 2 cruises and was not sure I would like aft, and I did.

We had 6628 on the Wonder a couple of years ago and liked it so much that when we booked a Cat 6 again for our cruise next month, we asked for it. Basically, it was a matter of "there was nothing wrong with it, why not go with something we know?" rather than "omigod! it was awesome!."

Assuming they'd be very similar rooms, I'd say it's a good one! Quiet, yet relatively conveniently located--being closer to the aft elevators is good--they're much less crowded than the midship ones.
