I have a question regarding using points for a disney magic cruise.

My family and are will soon be closing on a resale at the OKW :p and we want to use our first year points for 2 adults and pay cash for the children. Does anyone know how much $$ 2 children would cost for regular season on both the western and eastern cruise?

DVC has special negotiated rates with DCL, that are usually a little higher than the lowest rates that DCL offers. I was thinking of booking our Nov 03 cruise on half points half cash, but it turned out to be a better deal to use the points for our Feb trip and pay cash for the cruise. If I remember it was $460 for my daughter, who is 5. If any of your children are over 12, then they'll pay the adult supplemental, which will be at least $200 more. Now, my cruise is booked for a VERY slow time for DCL and the prices are dirt cheap. Regular season cruises for DCL are MUCH more expensive than what I have booked, so the supplemental probably will be much more than I paid, probably $100 - $200 more for each child, since DCL is usually VERY busy during that time period. Also, be aware that you'll have to pay an additional $75 booking fee to DVC for booking the DCL cruise. Also, transfers are an additional charge as well, if you are interested in them.
