Hi All,
Is there a play area on the Disney Magic for children that one can take their kids to and remain with them? For example, something like a tot lot? (other than the pool areas?)

We'd like to have something where we can just sit and watch our kids play for a while without having to sign them into the formal club or nursery.

Thanks in advance!

We were on there almost 2 years ago and there wasn't. It was one of the very specific complaints that I wrote them about after the cruise. It was hard to believe that there wasn't at least a small place for toddlers to play with parental supervision besides the pool. Other cruise lines that we've been on had this sort of thing. I was disppointed that Disney didn't.

I hope they have changed it by now!

We just sailed on the 7-day Western on 2/26, and I am happy to say that they did have a couple of areas where we could take our almost 2-1/2 year old for some playtime. Flounders has family play time at various times where you can go in the nursery and play on their mats and with their toys. It wasn't crowded at all- and there were a variety of ages in there. I believe it was free, versus the $6 an hour they charge for babysitting.

Or, you can take your little one in Castaway Club and stay with them while they play. They have a toddler play area with little slides and climb-ons. Plus, you can use the activity tables and larger slides if the Club's not too busy. You just go in and register as a "Visitor" and they'll let you stay as long as you want (as long as there's no special activity going on). I don't believe there was a fee for this, either, and I saw a little one in there who was probably 1-1/2 running around and playing with the blocks.

Hope this helps! We were relieved that there was somewhere we could go and let her run around a little- she loved it! Have fun!!

There is no outdoor play area on either the Wonder or Magic. You can take your kids into the clubs during the family time and let them play then. Otherwise, it's poolside only.

When my daughter was 2 we used secret deck 7 a lot for her run around play time....its pretty small and contained so I could sit down while she played.

Like a previous posted noted you can take your little ones into the nursery and play with them...or into the oceanners club (not sure what the castaway club is)...but there is no outdoor play area for any of the children not matter what age.....besides the pools and hoops area.
