Disney magic on parade

Does anyone known how long this lasts? Want to eat as soon as possible after this at Inventions so we can make it back for Dreams

I think normally 30 minutes or so, maybe not even quite that long but there is often a lot of people trying to get out of the park once it has finished so it might take a bit longer than usual. Also it doesn't always start exactly on time either.

I guess it depends where you stand. I believe it begins near Its a Small World so if you stand there it should have gone past you by about 7.25ish, however if you stand near Main Street Station you will be waiting longer for it to get to you. When we go I'm planning on standing near the start so we can nip off for dinner at about 7.30. You'll probably need to allow about 15 minutes to get back to Inventions aswell though.

We were in Walts watching it the other day at it reached the middle of Main St at about 7:10pm. So I think it probably takes about 20 - 30 minutes to go all the way round Town Square. If you plan on eating in Inventions I'd suggest getting a spot in Town Square for a quick exit - otherwise try at the beginning, at Small World. You could then cross Fantasyland, into Adventureland and follow the covered walkway to Liberty arcade, meaning you should miss the crowds.

thankyou for the replies, think well stand near the beginning and cut through the arcade after but im just wondering how I can get through Main street , does this usually get crowded? we've not watched it here so unsure

If you do as Julie suggested and cut through the Liberty Arcade then you won't have to battle much of Main St at all. And you'll be on the right side of Main Street for the exit gates.

You might be able to get in the DLH door right by there too (can't remember if we needed to use our Key card for that door) then you'll only be a minute or two to get along to Inventions.

We tried that the week before last and they actually stopped all traffic from crossing Main Street until the parade was through. I've never seen that area that crowded. I'm hoping it was just a one off, but figured I'd chime in.

Oh, that's a shame. I know that coming out of Discovery Arcade Main St would be closed, but I thought you'd be able to come out of Liberty Arcade, and out beside the Storybook Store. I don't like being 'roped off'

Yeah, that was just why we made that detour... crossed Main Street before the castle to get around and we were still stuck. Not good with a hungry boyfriend.

Like I said, maybe it was a one off. We tried to find out what was happening, but the CMs weren't exactly in the mood to communicate.
