We booked our first Disney Cruise this morning with Dreams Unlimited. We will be setting sail on the Magic on 10/15!

Does anyone know what the departure port is? I've never been to NYC before and I'm trying to orient myself but there appear to be several possible options.

The ship leaves from Manhattan's west side pier 88.

We're booked on the Oct. 15 sailing! Got one more cruise between now and then, though: the Feb. 6 Star Wars cruise on the Fantasy!

Got October 29th. Super excited, we love NYC! We have never sailed out of New York, it should be a nice change from Port Canaveral.

@ $200 - $240 I think I can possibly get someone to drive us there from PA and back and not have to worry about our car being parked there.

It's very safe to park there. We cruised the NCL Jewel the evening before Hurricane Sandy hit. So, our car was there the entire storm, no issues.

Us! We're going on the October 2 cruise to Canada. We live nearby so this is the easiest cruise we'll ever take.

We are also going to be there on the 15th. I have the room on hold right now. I found the balconies to be confusing... having never sailed on a Disney ship. I thought a balcony was a balcony. Little did I know there were 3 types SO long story even longer I had to put a different room on hold and will pay the down payment when I get home. Interestingly enough I think we are going to take the Long Island railroad in. Grab a taxi at Penn and go to the pier that way.

10/15 here!!! So excited! Glad we can drive to NYC from PA rather than fly for $$$$$ to Orlando!

Just booked the 10/22 NYC/Bahamas cruise. We did the first NYC/Bahamas cruise in 2012 and had a blast!!!!! We will drive down the day before and stay at a hotel near the port, then take a taxi to the port. I have to see which hotels offer the Sleep/Park/Cruise option.
