disney magic music days

do any of your school corusas/bands going or have gone too disey magic music days i have this year will be my 4th year



and for you that dont know its when they let school bands or coruses preform at disney

I've done the Magic Music Days twice... my frosh and senior year of highschool, my marching band went to WDW. We marched down Main Street before the 3 o'clock parade both times... And my frosh year, the colorguard (what I was on) performed in Downtown Disney, and my senior year, the guard performed on the Tomorrowland Stage in MK. We also did a behind-the-scenes dance class both times.

It was sooo much fun. The one thing I wish is that I woulda have been able to go with Chorus. The chorus at my highschool is going to Disney THIS year... so it stinks. lol

Our school doesn't do this. I don't think that they have ever gone farther than Boston.

Welll, I'm still in Middle School, but at the high school they used to go to Disney.. this year they switched to Boston for whatever reason.. But I heard next year they're going to Disney again. Which is good, because next year I'll probably be joining the band [:​

I went about a year ago (spring 2005). We marched in the spectromagic parade at night. It was AWESOME!!! Marching down Mainstreet USA toward the castle was the greatest 15 minutes of my life! I also loved WDW! I can't wait to go back someday!

My concert band and concert chorus goes every 4 years(everyone goes once in highschool).. it was truly amazing.. our band workshop wasn't as fun - we just did regular concert band stuff - granted we played the Tarzarn soundtrack.. to which the percussion part is so fun! And where I got made fun of for being the only girl drummer x_X

The chorus workshop was amazing.. it was with a woman who used to be a Mousketeer who was a total angel.. we sang a Hunchback of Notre Dame medley and then learned a Mickey Mouse Club dance.. and then there was a VERY GOOD surprise at the end

Our performances were fun... both were in the Magic Kingdom.. band was on the stage near Buzz Light Year and chorus was on a little stage right next to Space Mountain - for our chorus performance we built up a pretty big crowd of random people to watch us... but it was so ridiculously windy - our choir robes were flying everywhere and our pianist lost her music a few times!

And of course just going with my friends just fills it with the best memories I could ask for... I was actually talking about it with some of my friends today.. we laughed for all of our afternoon classes about silly things that we remembered!
