Hey everyone!

Can't wait for this cruise doing a B2B this will be our honeymoon cruise! Anyone else celebrating something special? Looking forward to hearing from everyone! :cool1:

Hello! I'm mike and I'll be sailing with my dw Katie (31) ds. Z(age 4 at time of cruise) and my mom. My father and his wife will also have a room onboard.

I'm a lieutenant/paramedic for the fire department and my wife is a pediatric icy nurse.

I have added your thread to the cruise meet list pixiedust:
Have a great cruise!

Hi! I just made my downpayment today- I will be traveling with 2 of my best friends-celebrating Mother's Day away from our teenagers, lol. I'm Ellen, with me will be Evie & Joan. Very excited to go back on the Magic- I have sailed on her twice, but that was pre-re-imagination. Many congratulations, Disneyducks12!

DH and I are sailing with our brood of 3! 12, 9 and 17 mo. at sail time. We've done the Dream and the Fantasy, but the kids want to try the 'new' Magic! Past cruisers, we welcome any tips on travel with a baby and on the Magic. We definitely want in on an FE! :cool1:

Welcome aboard :goodvibes I was thinking of starting a FE list i was thinking of doing a cap on how cabins we do and a deadline what do you think? Also I have sailed with Disney quite a bit but have never done with a baby but I can tell you what I have read people have done hopefully this helps!

1. Alot of people with young children will ship a box on board to put extra diapers, blankets, toys etc that may not fit in luggage here is the list and rules
One box per stateroom, no exceptions.
The package must have the guest's full name, ship, sailing date, stateroom number or GTY if you have not been assigned a stateroom number.
The package also must have a packing slip attached to the outside of the box that details the contents of the package. For prescriptions, a copy of the prescription is sufficient. Your list may or may not be read but it must have one. Write packing slip on the outside of the envelope.
NO FOODS/DRINKS OF ANY KIND, LIQUOR OF ANY KIND, FIREARMS, ETC. Items that cannot be shipped to the Disney Cruise Line Warehouse and delivered to the ship include: food products (any and all food products including baby food/formula), beverages (liquor, water, etc.), chemicals, and luggage. These items will not be accepted at the warehouse and will be returned.
The required size of the cartons you are shipping down have to be about the size of a record storage box 12 inches on a side and should not weigh more than 20 pounds.
Address your package to:
Disney Cruise Line Warehouse
Guest Name/Stateroom # (GTY, if you don't know what your room number is)
8633 Transport Drive
Orlando, FL 32832
Phone: 407-566-8196
In the bottom left corner of the top of the package put the following information:
ATTN: Housekeeping
  • Name
  • Sail Date
  • Ship
  • Stateroom Number
  • Packing slip
Packages must arrive by Friday by 3:00 PM for the 7-Night Cruise on the Disney Magic. (Saturday)
Packages must arrive by Friday by 3:00 PM for the 4-Night Cruise on the Disney Wonder. (Sunday)
Packages must arrive by Wednesday by 3:00 PM for the 3-Night Cruise on the Disney Wonder (Thursday)
If your box is hit on by the screening dog or chosen for additional screening they will open the list and the box and look through it. They will close it back up and provided nothing forbidden is in it, then it will be in your room as usual after boarding. These boxes will be coming on the ship with the crew mail among other things so they may be in the staterooms later than the rest of your luggage.

2. I also have heard alot of people with young children do early dining as well

Really those are the main things I have heard hope that helps some!

Hello everyone!!
I just rebooked us to this sailing yesterday :)
It will be me and my boyfriend sailing, we will both be 22 at that time.
This will also be my 6th Disney cruise, and his first cruise altogether! I can't wait to be onboard the Magic again! I haven't been since every thing was updated.
Can't wait to get to know everyone and share my excitement!! :D

I'm so glad I finally found a group. My family; me, DH, DD17 and DD6 booked this one on opening day. I also just booked my parents and brother a room as well. DH and I will be celebrating our 10th anniversary!
We were on the Magic last month and it was absolutely amazing. My little one wants to move on to the boat and my oldest wants to work for DCL as a photographer after college.
I can't wait til next year, I just hope my principal doesn't give me a hard time for taking a week off.
I would love to be part of an FE group!

Just booked our second cruise. It will be our first time on the Magic. My name is Melissa (32), my husband is Tony (42), and we have one son (who will turn 5 on the ship). We didn't know about FE's last time but we would love to participate this time.

That's awesome. I really hope we can get an FE group, I've already started shopping for it much to my husbands dismay. ;-)

We just got off our second Fantasy cruise and are booked for the Magic! Glad to find the group early this time!

My DH and my DS/DD Twins that will be 11.

Congrats DisneyDucks! Hubby and I spent our honeymoon on the 2013 eastbound transatlantic cruise - was amazing. I'd highly recommend the Paolo brunch to celebrate (they did something special for us when we told them it was our honeymoon, and we also thought brunch at Paolo was much more fun/a better experience than dinner. Not that dinner was bad by any stretch of the imagination). We also did the couples massage which was very nice and relaxing.

We decided to do a back to back this year to celebrate our honeymoon anniversary - the 10 May Bahamas cruise, followed by the 15 May transatlantic cruise. Super excited to see the re-imagined Magic!!! :yay:

We just got off the fantasy and booked this cruise onboard. It will be me, my DH, and my daughter who is 5. We also booked my mom a stateroom so we will see if she wants to go with us. :) we aren't interested in doing FE's but i did enjoy meeting everyone before the cruise here. :)

I just moved from the 4 night Magic out of Miami in Oct 2015 to this 5 night Magic out of PC. I wanted to go back to Key West, but did not want to do a Caribbean cruise. Not sure if we will make this, but it is now booked.
We will be celebrating our 38th Wedding Anniversary on May 28th..
Michele

So excited to find this group. This will be the first Disney cruise for me, my DH and my 5yr old daughter. Any first time DCL tips are more than welcomed.

We recently moved a parked cruise to this slot! The Disney Magic is our favorite ship of the 4; we had the opportunity to sail on the 2-night trip right after the refurb. We were the very first cruisers to try the new Palo menu with the chef tasting/wine pairing...it was so fabulous that we ordered it again when we sailed on the Disney Wonder recently. DH and I will be on this one, just before our 37th wedding anniversary! Looking forward to more conversation once it gets closer (I have two cruises before this one to look forward to). Hope to meet many of you on board.

Hi! I have never been on a Disney Cruise, this one will be my first! So excited! I would like to be included in a FE group, but maybe a smaller one. Maybe I would like to buy for just a few families, maybe not a huge group.
:)

My DD and I are booked for this cruise. I'm patiently (ok not) waiting for the school scheduled to come out and make sure state testing is done so I can pull her from school. We want to do the Magic and Key West so this cruise works, but with her now in junior high, I have to make sure she is not missing anything.
