Today 10 September 2019 the Disney Magic ship is in Dublin, as part of the 7 night 2019 British Isles Cruise from Dover.

This morning before work at about 6.30am I tracked the ship on cruisemapper as it was arriving in Dublin

After work I took the Dublin city tram called LUAS down to the port area. The port area is the last stop on the Red Line Luas and the stop is called The Point Depot.

As I got off the tram this is what I saw, the twin red funnels just over the wall. Yes I did have an OMG moment, that Disney happy feeling the first time you see the park gates ::MickeyMo::MinnieMo

I then started walking down to the actual port and ship docking area. Dublin port is a very busy commercial and industrial port. The walk from the tram stop to the actual ship took me about 20 minutes. The route is along a very busy road, the road used by all the freight trucks going to and from the various port buildings and commercial ships. There is a footpath, so it is safe, just not very pretty or scenic.

Eventually I found the ship dock area. The nearest I could get to the ship was at the service / delivery area. This was not the area for ship passengers. All passengers, pedestrian, excursion buses , taxis etc had to use a different area.

My girl still looking great. Will be on her on Sunday

I had friends sailing on her and came up to Dublin to meet them for lunch. It was lovely seeing all the Disney lanyards around the city center, also the Disney Store was full of cruise guests
