My parents, in their 60's went on a trip to the US this month and went to Los Angeles. If you picked a person who would be less likely to go to Disney, it'd be my mother. So I get a surprising call from the US one evening with my mum saying "we're just leaving Disneyland for the 4th time"!!!! Turns out their hotel was in Anaheim on the park and they couldn't get enough of it - Thunder Mountain (or the equivalent), a flight simulator called "flying over California" and mum was raving over how fantastic the parade was. They had an absolute ball!

Disney Magic certainly works! I'm hoping they'll come to Paris with us sometime.

Yay!!! How wonderful! :goodvibes

My parents were also in their 60's before they went to Disney but that wasn't through choice ~ they just couldn't afford it until then but soon made up for it and visited both WDW and Disneyland (California). :)

How wonderful :thumbsup2

I know that both my parents would love it, my dad especially would be in his element with the grandkids, sadly neither him or my mum travel and I have tried everything to get them to come with us - but no luck.:sad2:

My mum and dad love it too - it is great for them to see their grandchildren having fun

FIL and MIL first trip abroad was coming with us to gite in France. Which of course culminated in 3 nights at DLP.
They were not looking forward to that bit but loved every second of it. MIL remarked at the end of day 1 that you didn't even need children to come :lovestruc

My mum i dont think quite gets the magic but then again maybe she just looked miserable because it was cold lol.
But my dad i was really suprised because he is a moany old mad really got the magic and at one part nearly cried...trust me i was shocked lol

So glad that they had a blast.
