Hello!

Does anyone know if Disney Magic offers a buffet breakfast on disembarkation day? If so, how early does it open? I booked a flight that leaves Miami at 11:05 AM, so I was just wondering if we'd be able to catch an early breakfast before leaving the ship.

We were on the Dream last year, and I know it was offered on that ship, but I can't seem to find any information regarding the Magic.

Thanks for your help! :)

It is offered on the Magic. We just ate there on Sunday. I would assume they open early since they want you off the ship anyway. :)

Great, thank you!

My husband made me a little nervous about getting to the airport in time, but I remember us waiting for hours last year at the airport because I scheduled a later flight. Although last year, we were in Port Canaveral and going to Orlando airport, but still....I'm hoping to prove him wrong!

We got off the ship at 9 a.m. and were picked up by SAS transportation and dropped off at the Ft. Lauderdale airport by 10. Miami airport is much closers and should take less than 1/2 to get there from the port depending on traffic. We did not leave our bags out the night prior to disembarkation just took them off the ship with us in the morning. Didn't take more than 1/2 hour to get through customs and to get picked up. As long as the ship docks on time you should be fine.

Breakfast, either buffet or sit down won't be a problem. You'll have plenty of time to eat before the ship is cleared to let passengers off.

I would be very uncomfortable with a flight that early. Best case you will be off the ship by 7, and leaving the port for the airport only 4 hours before a flight just is too short for my comfort. We just always plan on a leisurely lunch at the airport...that's our pad in case the ship is later, there is a delay clearing customs, or a problem on the road.

If I recall correctly, breakfast buffet opens at 6AM. We did it off the Magic on our last cruise, got our rental (Budget Port Canaveral), checked in to POR, and were at EPCOT at 9:45AM.

MIA is only a few miles from the port. Barring major disaster, you will be FINE. NO WORRIES!!! I've had earlier.
