Disney Magazine ceases publication???

Hello again-
I have not checked on this thread for a bit- but I wanted to respond to the suggestion by tjkraz that the Disney insider is substitute for the Disney Magazine.... IMHO there is NO WAY that this little newsletter has even half of the quality of the Disney mag! How about the beautiful photos and the articles written from the perspective of various authors-
Another reason I loved to receive the Disney Magazine is because it was like a virtual trip! Beautiful photos and stories....I'd grab a drink and steal away to read it. It was like a mini-visit when I was stuck at home in the frozen north! It wasn't just about the info. That is what I will miss.....

I never meant to imply that the two were on the same level--just responding to the suggestion that someone else made regarding an email newsletter in the same vein.

I'll miss it myself. Too bad more of the folks that frequent these boards couldn't spare $10 for a subscription.

I'm with you there, but I do feel Disney is just being so darn CHEAP about many things these days, and the cutbacks seem to always be at the expense of the most loyal customers too......'nuff said.
Now I'm worried that Vacation Magic may suffer the same fate as the Disney Magazine.

BTW, I recieved my last Disney Mag "collectors issue" and the company glued an ugly paper cover to the spine with info on how to order their other mags instead. So much for my nice collectors issue.
