Disney Lost and Found

Does anyone know a number that I should call regarding items lost at Disney World? My daughter lost her (full) autograph book It had her name, resort, and several phone numbers in the front but we have not heard from anyone about it. I am pretty sure it was lost in MK. I HOPE HOPE HOPE that we can recover it or at least recreate it somehow

I hope you'll have better luck with Lost and Found than we did. Last year on our anniversary trip, we lost our umbrella in MK. It wasn't like it was valuable money-wise, but we had bought it on our honeymoon in WDW five years before, so it was valuable from a sentimental standpoint. It had the year on it and everything. NO one ever turned it in. I guess someone was happy to get a free umbrella on their trip...

Last year I went and lost my NY Yankee 2000 World Series Hat, I was hoping it turned up in lost and found but no luck. I figure some Red Sox fan found it and threw it in the trash.

In fact Disney has now claimed two of my hats, when I went as a child with my family I got a hat from Kennedy Space Center, sure enough it also became a Disney World casualty. When we got home and developed our pictures, guess what we saw on the ground underneath one of the benches.

I am seriously considering not packing any hats for my next trip.

We have good stories about Disney Lost and Found.

About 3 years ago, my DS was really into pin trading (he was about 6). He was in one of the stored checking out the pins, took off his hat that had all of his pin on it, bought a pin a walked out of the store.

We got the hat back about 2 hours later.

Last year, my "wallet on a string" got mixed up with the pool towels and disappeared. I was frantic. The next day we were on our way home and got the call that it was found. They mailed it to me and everything was still in it when I got it (sunglasses, money, 6 10day hopper passes,camera etc).

I couldn't thank them enough!!!!!

Two years ago my DW left her glasses on a WDW bus returning from Epcot to POR. We took the next bus back to Epcot and while I went to guest relations to see if they had been handed in my wife asked the bus driver about the bus we had returned to resort on.The CM at guest relations gave me a box full of spectacles and asked "are they in here?" Luckily my wife remembered the drivers name and the driver contacted the lost and found vehicle which was parked in the same car park they were there ( with mickey mouse spectacle chains still attached ) the driver took my wife to the vehicle to pick them up and then returned her to the bus stop saving her the walk across the car park.

Sorry to hear about the Yankee hat loss...If I had known i would have saved one of THREE DH had that I had him donate. He has over 23 Yankee hats now (down from the zillions it seems).
In my defense I didn't have him donate the World Series hats in particular! He chose those to dontae. He still has one he kept. I guess I shouldn't have had him choose right after the Torre fiasco .

To the OP, I am sending pixie dust your daughter's way! I hope L&F can recover it!
