Well our long awaited much anticipated first time ever Disney trip is over....but it wont be our last!
Our trip lasted 2 wks...but spent 5 days at Disney...plus 2 more days in Orlando....and one day at Clearwater beach.

Husband and I celebrated our 25th anniversary with our two daughters...20 and 15.

From the moment we crossed over into the state line of Florida..it was sunshine...it had rained hard every day until then....so the poncho advice someone mentioned was used in Memphis..lol...we looked like skittles running about...but was dry...(well three of us was very dry....teen daughter said she wouldnt be caught dead in a plastic poncho..lol). So poncho advice :thumbsup2.

Online check in a total breeze and much faster.....as I and another couple walked into to the office exact same time....both had no waits....I was in and out within less than 3 minutes total. While they were still fumbling with paper work I was on my merry way.

CBR....WOW....impressed with our resort....clean...very friendly ppl. All requests were meet and some exceeded. We asked for preferred room...had lower level with the double windows....nice and cool room.

Enjoyed the deluxe dining program had table service for the most part....overload of food....everything was very good...only two counter service meals and that was great as well. The luau was fun...our waitress was outstanding...very attentive. Askerhaus...if you have daughters of any age....this is something I think they would enjoy...our daughters sure did.
One tiny problem with a server at the Tusker house for breakfast....the waiter Jim wanted to lecture our daughters on the cost of Disney how expensive it was...was wayyyy over the top and uncalled for. We just kindly told him that cost wasnt a factor on this trip. Then he turned around and was a total opposite to the table behind us about how affordable Disney was..lol..we had a good laugh at his dual personality. One thing we noticed at how loud it was in most of the places we ate (the loudest was the Coral Reef). Certainly not what you would expect in some places dining outside of the park. All places made something special out of us celebrating our anniversary whether it was chocolate strawberries, a cupcake it was acknowledg, card or a picture of the cast. It was a nice touch! Deluxe dining has the 2 snacks a day per person so we have a huge sack of goodies that we brought home to enjoy.

Only a few things I would change....next time we would like to try a deluxe resort. Skip a few of the character meals....some I booked I didnt realize that was happening. One last thing I would bring Pepsi...lol nothing but Coke there. Learn to not haul my heavy carry everything but the kitchen sink purse with me all the time.

Disney made everything so easy...the magic key to the world was nice for everything. Enjoyed using the photopass not often all 4 of us can be in the same picture. :)
