I wish I could go but have no time off left from Bay Area. Sounds smazing.

That is actually one day after we check out and go home from our Disneyland trip. Maybe we can extend it one more day somewhere and attend this. We had the extreme good fortune a few years ago to be invited to a group lunch at Club 33 with him, tour Main Street with him, and also ride the Lily Belle with him. This tour seems like it would be a lot of fun. I wonder how quickly it will sell out.

Why can't that be my upcoming week in LA!? LOL

Sounds great, can't wait to hear your review.

That would be great if you could join us. I think the bus holds 38.

Any good hotels nearby? It seems like we'd need two more nights to do this. And that makes it add up. I don't know what parts of this area are good or bad to stay in.

Oh man I would love to do this and I live so close. Not sure if I can spend the $89 right now, but Bob Gurr is my favorite Imagineer (I've watched the WDW Modern Marvels one too many times). This will be awesome.

You can either stay in the Los Angeles area, or if you want to stay nearby there are several. Fellow DISer and friend, @rtobe, has stayed at this one before, and I visited her there. The hotel seemed fine and is close to the 5 freeway.

Wasn't that the best day EVER, PinkBudgie?!!! You can't put a price on spending a day with Bob Gurr! We're going to be down there on the 17th, but we already booked the BBQ event at Walt's barn the night before, and we're going to Club 33 on the 17th. Why does everything have to happen all at the same time??!

Yes, it was! I have pictures up on my wall from that day. So I won't feel too bad if this one doesn't work out. Going to Club 33 again isn't too shabby either! Have a great time!

Wow, that sounds like a wonderful experience, ladies!!!

July 17 is now sold out and they've opened another day - August 21. I'll update the first post.
