Disney Land AND Disney World in the same trip.

My DH and I are doing both DL and WDW in the beginning of November. We are running the Avengers Gauntlet to earn our coast to coast medals then flying to WDW for a week using the last month of our AP.

Do it! Do it!

Did this in July with my best friend and her boyfriend. We did Universal Florida, Disney World, Knotts Berry Farm and Disneyland in that order. Finished up with a baseball game. It was so great, so much fun, it's going to be hard to top that trip. It was right after Soarin' opened with new film and while I prefer the original film it was great seeing both versions of the new one back to back.

I'll say this, I prefer the DL versions of almost every ride that's duplicated, especially Pirates! I preferred Florida versions of TSM and ToT better (so at least they kept that one!), everything else was better in Cali.

Fantastic trip, exhausting but worth it. My friend also got engaged and Chewbacca gave me a sympathy hug after my phone got trashed on California Screamin' so it was a wild ride.

Of the major attractions, I also think Haunted Mansion and Splash Mountain are both better at WDW. The vast majority of duplicated rides are better at Disneyland, though.

I followed a blogger a few years ago who was a DL regular. They visited WDW, and on the day they left, they went to MK and rode HM, and maybe a couple of other rides that were also in DL. They flew home, and because of the time difference, rode the HM in DL on the same day! I don't think they managed to fit in the other rides in, but it sounded like a very cool challenge to me. If I was going to do both parks in a single trip, I would definitely try to pull off a stunt like that just for the bragging rights.

I did that 2 years agao. flew from UK to LA; did 4 days at Disneyland and then flew from LA to Orlando for 10 days at WDW.

i got to admit I found it very tiring.

Personally I wouldnt do it again - for me it was very overwhelming.

I don't think that I could do it. After all the walking that I did for 3 days at Disneyland, I don't think that I could handle WDW so soon. But, if I were to win the powerball, that is something that I would like to attempt. It would be just two parts of my Disney World Tour, where I would go from resort to resort, until I did them all. But it's really hard to win the powerball, when you almost never play...

we did both parks one year...
spent 3 weeks at WDW, then flew to LA for 5 days at Disneyland/Disney's California Adventure...

3 days at DL/DCA simply isn't enough...
in the two parks in california, they have more attractions than at the 4 parks in florida...

we haven't been back to DL/DCA since that trip, but i would so like to go...
they're really nice parks!!
