Disney Kitties?

I snapped this pic of a cat we saw in DCA. It was in the show area near Monster's Inc. where all the benches are. I was sitting down on one of the benches and saw the cat. I was tapping my fingers on the bench and he came right up and starting playfully batting at them. It was so cute. :)

I thought these two kitties were absolutely adorable...

I wonder if these kitties realize how lucky they are, living at the Happiest Place on Earth? It would be interesting to attach a camera to them and see what they do all day.

I want to that to my cat and watch it on my lunch break.:rotfl:

Here are a few that hang out at the patio area of White Water Snacks in the Grand Californian

lol, I have a pic of the same cat! We took the pic in early May. She seems very friendly, that's my DD's hand petting her through the fence. The kittens are adorable. (we didn't see them in May)

We came across another stray cat and got a glimpse of him/her on video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9FuEeThnkkU

OMG HOW CUTE!!! I can't believe I have never seen one before. I am a big animal lover and it would probably be the highlight of my trip to see one! LOL! A thread was mentioned on here all about the disney kitties. Anyone know this link?

I was out at the parks yesterday and caught this local making her rounds at Taste Pilots in DCA

How interesting and it all makes sense! When we were at DL for 1/2 marathon weekend recently, I said to my DH "did we just pass by a cat?" I thought I was losing it.

Thats too cute Goofster, I love how most of them look right at the camera like they know your taking pictures...its great

They're obviously so used to being surrounded by people and it doesn't seem to faze them at all. I used to have a feral colony living behind me and they were all so scared of people. Two of my own cats were born feral and rescued as kittens and they're still very much not people cats. One especially. She loves me and my parents (she was theirs initially), but that's it. And even with us she doesn't want us to pick her up, freaks her out.

Thanks for the videos ;-)
We currently have 5 former ferals. 2 we trapped when they were probably a couple months old, when one got caught in a pipe at my husbands work. Lucy is gorgeous-a short haired tortie with calico/tabbey markings on her belly. She's the most skittish. If husband and I approach her right when she is on the bed or cat tree she loooves being petted, but you have to get her just right. Her brother Ricky is a grey tabbey and is skittery but very loving. It took me several months just to be able to pet them with constant and patient attention- the most feral kittens I ever have experienced.
Jack is another we trapped- a sad eyed humongous siamese looking thing, he is also very sweet but skittery. Katrina- husband found sitting by a pop machine outside his work- probably because of the heat of the machine. It was in Oct. and had been raining all month. She was emaciated, probably a few months old. She is probably the sweetest cat I've ever known, somewhat skittery, but very very attached to me. She's a small black shorthaired cat- who also happens to be obese - all of them are that way really- the ferals. Harvey is the kitten-- he was so small when he was found he is not skittery at all and is just another kitten. He is pretty aggrssive with his food if he really likes it- sounds like a lion lol, and he is play aggressive, but that has much to do with not having a playmate. He is very pretty, a medium haired all black kitten-- not too fat yet lol.

when we were on heimlich's chew chew train in bugs land over at DCA, we saw the most adorable, teency, tiny, black kitten curled up in one of the bite grooves of the giant apple in that ride! it was so little, and so precious curled up in that apple. we had to ride it again just to get one more look at him!

Oh goodness-the apple had a little kittenworm!

mommy2allyandaveri, I saw one while riding the Storybook boats too. There was a giant cat sitting right in the middle of Agraba! It was pretty funny. Of course, I did not have my camera ready.

We also saw some at the Hungry Bear but again no pictures.

I did finally have my camera handy once when we were at Whitewater Snacks. I think I must have seen the same big pretty mommy Calico as Goofster57 too plus some others. They are some pretty lucky kitties.
