The desert sure looks good right now. Glad my DW and DD are back West. Evacuating with three small dogs and cat in tow tomorrow for Grosvenor 1nt then to SSR. We were expecting a "Sorry we are full". Disney is garanteeing space for animals if you have your own kennels. 1st come 1st serve for their own but they say they still have plenty of room for small pets as of this evening. That will change. We were told The Ft Wilderness Kennel will be closed as it is prone to flooding. The other four are open. Still hoping Frances will do a Floyd and turn north at the last moment but not looking good.

Best of luck madcoco. Its good to hear on the pets, as Charley was especially hard on people with pets needing shelters. My daughters college in DeLand closed late yesterday and sent the kids home for a 5 day holiday weekend. It seems like people are heeding the warnings after Charley. SSR weathered Charley well except for the newer plantings. Stock up on groceries because Artists Palette/general store will close early as the storm approaches.

I'll be praying for you Madcoco! I hope it turns North and FAR East and never makes landfall. (I'm also praying for stronger El Nino conditions to come and end this hurricane season)

That's great that Disney is opening their shelters like that, they're awesome.
