Disney+ just added R rated movies

Heard this might be a possibility, but I just noticed that "New to Disney+" included Deadpool and Deadpool 2. Also Logan.

Edit: Changed the title since "dropped" (slang for releasing a title/episode) may cause confusion.

Oh, My Gosh, Did you just say that Disney+ has both Deadpool and Deadpool 2 on there now? I will be in heaven just having to watch Deadpool every day because Deadpool is my crush and he is so cute. And did you mention that Logan is on there too. Because my father liked Wolverine but we have never seen Logan yet. This seems like a smart move to expand Disney+'s Marvel lineup and hope it works for them well

Internationally D+ already had R-rated movies there. I leave in Germany and Logan and Deadpool are there. Plus other things such as Fresh with Sebastian Stan for instance (Hulu is not available here and uses D+ Streaming platform).

Looking forward to watching Logan again. And we're getting a new series of Daredevil. Can't wait.

I doubt they will as it's an additional stream of income but I wish they would just drop Hulu and move all of their content to Disney+ so it would have more and we could drop one of our services. We're already looking at consolidating and getting rid of some we don't watch much, but Disney + and Hulu are the main ones we use (along with HBO Max) so don't plan to drop either right now.

Random question but wasnt there going to be a page on Disney+ for these specific movies and shows that were PG13 and R?

I also am intrigued that The Orville is moving to Disney plus because it does have adult themes and is very much an homage to Star Trek.

I don't recall anything about a specific page/section for them but back when they started adding the Mature rated content, like the Netlfix Marvel shows, they added a filter that could be turned on so children couldn't access them if their parents didn't want them to.

I do wish Disney would allow kid accounts to see the National Geographic documentaries. From what I could tell, I had to give my kid an adult account to watch the nature shows. It wasn't a big deal. It would be a bigger deal now if he could also click on Deadpool

That seems a strange thing to block in the child filter. Should definitely be an option to unlock. Only thing I can figure is if the documentaries show animal attacks/hunting which could be graphic for some young children.
