I tried searching for this, so if there is a thread about the show, I missed it. I have a DD2 who is absolutely in love with MMC (and the Hot Dog dance, which I've already asked about). We don't have the Disney channel, only the DVDs, so we don't know the other shows. What can I expect from this show? Is it worth attending, even if we won't know most of the other characters? I'm working on my planning notebook and need to know if I should include it or not.

Thank you!! You all are stress relief for my over-planning mind.

It is basically like a live episode of MMC using puppets. The 3 Mousekatools (however you spell that) are Handy Manny, Little Einsteins and the Neverland Pirates. Each of those shows then gets featured in the puppet show for a little while before going back to MMC. My kids loved it!

My DD who is 3 LOVED it. Lots of music. Somewhat interactive. Bubbles and confetti. A must see with little ones.

One thing to mention - we got there a little early and got in line. We ended up being in the very front row. It was hard to see the puppets because the stage is higher up when you are sitting on the ground. We would have been better off sitting a little further back. We were there in December and it closed to get refurbished after that but I would guess it is the same stage with different characters.

I saw it last year and this year post refurb. As far as I could tell the only difference was replacing the Pooh and Friends segment with the Neverland Pirates. It was the exact same storyline and puppets aside from that (at least as far as I could tell).

I heard this also from a friend who recently went. I think it's kind of dissapointing that they didn't really "change" the show, so to speak.

It is a stage show with giant puppet-like "things" as the characters--they aren't "life-size"...so Mickey on stage will be much smaller than the Mickey your daughter just saw out in the park. (Given your daughter's age, that may not matter though.)

Also, you sit on the floor for this show, but there are ample opportunities for the children to get up and dance. There will be three segments to the show--all of them are pretty much equal in length, so you might want to familiarize her with the other shows. The shows are Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Handy Manny, and Jake and the Neverland Pirates.

We've seen the show twice (when Pooh was in there in place of Jake--it still is the same show, just now there is Jake instead of Pooh) and my two are so excited to go back and see it again.

Everyone else filled you in but I wanted to add.. it is a nice cool (cool meaning air conditioned) break from the parks.

I saw the show before the refurb and my kids loved it!!!!! I can't wait to take them to see the new one in a couple of weeks.:yay:

We had the same experience at WDW's HS. We were in front and couldn't see much of anything - and they wouldn't let my 2-yr-old or my 5-yr-old stand up! So, the show overall left a sour taste in my mouth.

There is also a Little Einsteins segment. :thumbsup2

My kids loved it before and DD will love it even more now with Jake and the Neverland pirates!
