Is it worth it to get the FP+ for Disney Jr. Live? Does it just gain you entrance without waiting or do you get preferred seating?

Not sure about seating, but, everyone has to wait until the previous show lets out. At DJR, everyone sits on the floor and the kids are encouraged to stand up and participate, not really any bad seats. But, the closer you are to the front, it can be a bit hard to see the character puppets. :goodvibes

You get reserved seating, but it is very close to the stage. The show is best viewed from the back. I would not waste a FP on it.

It's not worth it - the show is in a large studio, and the seating is on the floor. The kids are encouraged to dance around, so as a parent, you are kinda chasing after them. The only bit with FP+ is that they let you get in earlier, that's all. But the seating is rather "fluid" because of the kids. And bum rushing the front area is not recommended because its hard to see the characters.

Plus, who are you really going there for? Your kids. And they want to dance. Can't sit and dance can you? Gotta get up and run around to really boogie! :cheer2:

Thanks all. I really don't know what else to use the FP+s for. I guess they'll just go to waste. We won't be seeing any other shows that night and DS5 is not going to want to ride ToT. We don't go until June so maybe the park hopping option will be put in play by then.

I am going to piggy back on this - OP I hope you don't mind. I will have DS 5 as well and this show will play a big part of their day at HS since there isn't alot for him and DS 7 to do here (although it's probably my second favorite park so I can't miss it).
If I FP+ this show - I understand they let us in first (before standby). Are we able to pick our own spot or will they tell us we have to sit that close to the stage area?

When we went last year, we got stuck in the very far back cornor and the kids couldn't see anything going on with everyone standing up - they were so disappointed. I just want to make sure that they get a decent seat for this show - so I'm considering the FP+ as well.

We are using FP for this as, with others, nothing else we want to use them on. My plan is to get there at the very end of the return time in order to sit farther back of middle section (bypassing those waiting in line). :-)

THe older 4 people in my party have a FP for Star Tours while I take the 2 year old to Disney Jr.So i went ahead and used my FP for Disney Jr just so it doesnt go to waste.

We did FP+ for this show with our 3yo. We didn't get any special seating, just let in first. For us it wasn't a throw away because it was just the 3 of us. We ended up sitting to the right of the stage. Crappy seats in my opinion, but he had fun!
