It is wayyyyy past my bedtime, and I am clearly delusional, but I just decided on a whim to buy tickets to take our girls to see Disney Jr Live Pirate and Princess Adventures next weekend! The show is 4 hours away:scared1:, but only 1 more hour to the beach! So we will go to the show Fri night, then spend Sat and Sunday at the beach!! Im feeling so crazy, and I am never impulsive but I know my DD5 is going to flip out! She starts Kindergarten this year, and I've been trying to make this summer extra special!

Has anyone seen the show? I hope its going to be great!!!:woohoo:

Fun! I heard about the show but it's not in our area yet so haven't seen it. I think it's good to do impulsive crazy things now and then!

Haven't done it yet. We have tix for 2nd row in November, I'm so excited for DD4 to see it. Please check back in afterwards & let us know all about it!

We went today and had so much fun! My DD 6 loves these typed of shows and had a blast singing the songs. There are several parts where they have the kids stand up and do some motions. She loves that. Princess Sophia is one of her favorites. My son also had a good time and now also likes Princess Sophia. He has autism and was very nervous about the whole thing but wanted to stay because he liked it.

Just to let you know in case you want enough cash in hand - Everything there is really overpriced (the usual for these venues). My daughter wanted the Light up Sophia amulet and many of the little girls were wearing one ($25.00). It is cute and she plans on wearing it Disney. Popcorn, snow cones, cotton candy etc were $12.00. They only took cash at ours.

Anyway we had a lot if fun. I think they equally enjoyed the Sophia part and the Jake part. Mickey and Minnie were there too.

My daughter wanted to know when we could go back! You will have a great time.

Do you happen to remember how long the show was in duration?
Trying to decide if my 2 your old would be able to sit through it.
Thanks!

I think it was under 2 hours long. Your 2 year old won't have trouble with it. The whole place is full of kids and no one just sits quietly watching the show. There is an intermission half way through the show (between the Sophia part and the Jake part). There is at least one time in each half that the kids get up and copy some motions. At one point a volcano explodes some gold "coins" (which are really paper) and a lot of the kids got up and ran toward the front to pick some up. Lots of kids were standing instead of sitting (I think they could see better?). So I really think your 2 year old will be fine.

How are the floor seats? I'm looking to surprise my 4 year old for Christmas and am looking at getting 4th row tickets, but worried if he will be able to see well on the floor. I know the circus floor seats aren't the best because they aren't elevated and are straight on with the activity.

For those who have seen the show...
Our show is next Sunday at 2. Regarding the Doc "pre-show," does she come on at 2 or sometime before? And how early should we get there? I can't find online what time the doors open. Is there stuff to see/do before the show?

She came out 10-15 minutes before. We weren't super early, but I don't think there was anything to do. It was a great show and my kids both loved it. The merchandise is pricey, the spinning light toys are $25 each. Eek!
