I heard you gotta be 16+ to work as an entertainment cast member.. Is that true ?

I know to work ath the Disney store you have to be 18 and you cant work at the same one as a family member. Also i have met people that have worked in WDW that were 16. but they were in Downtown Disney. If you give me a job i can find you the age.

I DONT KNOW ABOUT WORKIN AT DISNEY BUT AT OUR DISNEY STORE THERE IS PEOPLE WORKIN THAT LOOK YOUNGER THAN 18 BUT YOUR PROBABLY RIGHT.

OK i just got an e-mail from my friend brian and his gf. and this is what they said... "it all depends on your physical build and hieght also we think you have to be at least 16. go to a casting call and see if you can get in"

As for the High School program it is for kids that live in Florida around WDW. They can get in the program with good grades and if they want to work there!

I wanna work there..I think u have to be at least in college. I dunno. Most of the people I met there are on the college program. i wanna do that so badly when I am in college. 6 months of working in Disney...it probably wouldnt even feel like you were working.

As for the High School program it is for kids that live in Florida around WDW.

I met a guy that looked like he was 17. Turned out he was 21...


If you know that you are gonna be in florida for like a summer and you know that you have a way to get to and from WDW you should fine out if there is a casting call and go! I will look around for my casting card and put out the number for you... maybe that will help. i know the number starts with 407!
