I just got back from a new dollar store that just opened by my house. They had a lot of nice Disney stuff. I wanted to buy some and sell it to make some money for my trip. The advise I'm looking for is where to sell it? I don;t want to use ebay because I would just add like .25 to each item and with ebay I'd be in the negative. I could also maybe put some stuff together, then maybe it would be worth it. IS there any free placement places?
Also do you think these things would be worth it to sell?
Some of the stuff I saw... Bags of Micky or the Princess lollipopsman , Princess candy chews.
Pez of Micky, Minnie, Donald, and also Pooh charcters.
Stretch gloves with Disney -- Princess = Mickey Different styles and colors. Single the mechinal pencils- Mickey and Minnie
Also 2 pack of Mickey color pencils.
Framed 8x 10 mickey and the gang photo's cute to hang in kids room. Also Scooby Doo.
Mickey, Minnie and Pooh little stuffed key chain.
If you think this is something worth while I will pick some up if not I will skip it.

While that sounds like a good idea, you might not have many takers. As wide-spread as the dollar stores are these days, most folks have one nearby. For instance, I have seen all of the items you mention in my local Dollar Tree (plus a few items you didn't mention), and therefore would not pay more for them from you...and certainly wouldn't want to add shipping on top of it. You probably won't make much of a profit on these type items, at least not to be worth your time going to the store, buying, packaging, shipping, etc.

However, if you can find items that are in short supply and high demand, then you've got a winner! Or things at great deals...like when TDS has their big sales....or finding things at the outlets since there are so few of them. The dollar stores are just so wide-spread that most folks have access to those items already.

But if you can find a free listing site where you wouldn't have to make as much to cover costs, maybe some folks without a dollar store nearby would be interested? Good luck, whatever you decide!

Personally, I would not purchase consumable items. Call me paranoid, but it is just not something I would do.

I think my approach would be to package several items together as a lot. Maybe you could purchase some plain tote bags at a craft store and apply some Disney transfers to them. Then fill the bags with your $1 items and "market" it as a gift pack of sorts.

Good luck!

I think I will skip it. I just though that some of the things where pretty good. The gloves have the disney store tag on them.
The 8 x 10 framed pictures where really nice. I got some Scooby Doo for a friend who collects them.
I'm making my 18 yr old a Disney bag and put several things in it for her. Got some t-shirts at the Mall and a pr of earing.
Oh well I will stick with my other ebay stuff. Anyone need a vintage "American Girl" style coat? Or painting and craft books? LOL

Someone PMed me about the coat I read the message and we going to get back to them but now the PM is gone.
PM me again if you see this
