Disney Internships

Thanks for everyone's help on the last question, but here's another internship one...Do you know of any Disney summer internships? May-August or something similar? I know they are rare, but it's the only time I can do them. Thanks again.


Hey everybody! I just applied for a couple Finance and Accounting internships at Disney World for this coming summer, and am looking for opinions/advice from anyone who may have had these before, or just any internship in general (except for the CP). Anyone know if there is housing? pay? What the hours are? Park privilages? etc? Thanks in advance for the help.

You could apply for the internships during the summer? Can you do that for all of them? (Not the reg. CP)

Yeah actually, about 10 internships outside of CP opened up starting the first of June for things such as Finance, Operations, Marketing, and Accounting. Many require having been a CP, but fortunately the ones I signed up for did not, as I've nevere had the opportunity to do the program before.

I was a CP in 2001 i believe u get the same privilages as any other internship going to the parks for free and all that jazz now the living arranges i'm not sure some cp whom graduated and went on from there said that disney don't really put up in housing but you should ask I enjoyed being a CP i was working in my field that i'm majoring in so its cool

I am a CP right now, and I am in the interview process for a professional internship for January. I am sure you understand that the June internship is a 6 month program--I could be wrong, but most are 6 months.

Anyway, you get all the perks of any other cast member. Park entry, discounts, etc. The hours vary depending on the department. The ones you listed are pretty office-based, so I'm sure the hours would be pretty "regular". Pay pretty much varies on department, too. I don't know anything about the departments you mentioned, but the range I've heard of so far is about $7.50-9.50/hour. I've heard management interns make considerably more, but I'm sure that too depends on the role.

Thanks for the help. Unfortunately no, I was not aware that it was June-December internship. Sadly that means I can't do it anyway. So thanks for all the help, but I guess I'll try for one some other time.
