Disney internet in resort hotel (Villas)

I heard someone mention bringing their wireless router to their 2bdrm Villa, and I was wondering how this worked b/c I'm not a tech expert and I think you have to pay extra for internet at any resort, right? So, if I hooked up the router to the Disney modem, I would use my password associated with my wireless router to access it, but then would be prompted to pay for internet? How does Disney internet work?

That's just the way it works. As soon as you reach their system (ie after you log into your router) you'll get a splash screen on your internet browser that tells you how much it costs. Once you acknowledge that, it gets charged to your room and sends you to the default Disney site.
