I Looooove interpreting texture with makeup. I have to say, that is the biggest challenge with our looks and the most creative. I tend to hate doing it in the beginning, but end up loving it in the end



In general to all :

I wanted to let you guys know that we have not fell off the face of the earth in terms of makeup. We both have been SO busy with preparing for our big trip this FRIDAY!!! YAY!!! I'm SOOOO stoked, you will not believe! To begin with, my fiancee (shyboy72) bought me an AP !!! How awesome is he ?!?! Also, I've hand painted 11 shirts, made my costume, sewed 4 treat bags, made 4 lgmh badges, and a lgmh keychain. This is alll while trying to juggle being a full time student and part time waitress. It has DEFINITELY been trying at times !

BUT my point is, that my cousin and I will be doing a TR when we get back (of course) and will share many pictures of our looks at DL. She is going to be Ursula and I am going be the Cheshire Cat ! Geez, I didn't get to my point yet...

OKAY, the BIIIIG point is that we will be doing kind of a 'special edition' look on Monday afternoon, maybe not posting right away though because .... SHE WILL BE AT MY HOUSE !!

AMAZING, I know. We live like a whole country apart and will finally be able to do looks together in one room for the very FIRST time EVER. How weird is that ?

Well, other than my rambling, I hope you all have a fantastic week and that this thread has inspired you to play with makeup for Halloween (at the least! )

thanks youve probably already answered this and i was to lazy to read but like how do u get these types ideas and how did u guys learn how to do them so well? have u ever thought about working for disney? because that would be cool! (in my opinion XD) lol so yeah! love all your crazy faces!

I'm a graphic designer, so I tend to like to dissect principles/themes/ideas from a subject and use them in different ways. I like to do that with makeup. I like to take a less popularized character and take aspects of them and translate it to what I like about them

I learned how to do makeup from magazines, youtube, and acrylic painting

I would LOOOOVE to work for Disney. That would be the ultimate job for me right now. How great would that be to wake up, go to work and make art on people's faces. That would be AMAZING !!

i agree! hehe well your awesome! haha i already said that.... good work ladies! i would love to work at disney! but i guess i should wait 3 or 4 more years since idk if they want a 13 year old girl running around causing chaos!

I can show you the corset top I'm wearing, I am using purple and black as the main costume and adding some green with feathers in my hair and with a boa.
