I am planning to travel to Disney in Feb 2005 either the 1st or 2nd week. What is the weather like there in Feb.? Are the ridelines much shorter than normal? For example...how long would it take to ride Space Mountain mid morning in Feb as compared to in a more higher attendence period?

Thanks very much!

Oh...what are the all-star movies resorts like?

We went Feb 8-10 in 2002 and the lines weren't bad at all. Not as low as say September but better than October. Epcot was extremely dead while we were there.

Weather was 60 ish in the AM Mid 70's by midday. We wore shorts and long sleeve tshirts the whole time.

A good time to go.

I went in 2003. We were there 2/7-2/15. We only got to swim once because while it was nice, just not warm enough to swim. We had mostly high 60's everyday. However, you also didn't have to deal w/ sweating in the parks. The crowds were low, but building as we were leaving. Beginning w/ President's Day weekend, you'll notice a difference in the crowd levels. Pretty much anything before that in Feb. isn't very busy.

I went with my mother in February 2004, the first week.

*We found the crowds to be wonderfully small.
*Wait times were short, and we rarely used Fast Passes.
*We easily got everything done we wanted to (four parks = three days), however, we were gone from early morning to late at night.
*Weather was beautiful during the day, but as soon as the sun set, we wanted our jackets. Most days we wore long pants and short sleeves. One day was really just very cold all day long!
*Remember, parks close much earlier.
*We had no rain while we were there.
*We really felt like it was a bit chilly to be swimming.

I have also stayed at the All Stars.

*The ground floor room we had was extremely musty-smelling (this was a different trip, over Labor Day weekend).
*I didn't have any complaints about anything else, however....
*Compared to Pop (also a value resort), where I stayed with Mom during the February trip, the Pop was much nicer, in my opinion. I liked the theming in the rooms better, everything was new and fresh, and I really liked the food court/shopping area. If I had to choose between an All-Stars and Pop Century....I would choose Pop Century, hands down.

I was there the last week of Feb 2004. It was cold, but awesome. Little to no lines, esp. when using Fast pass & getting there early.

The All Stars are fun. They are very "bright" and colorful. I personally like them a lot!

We were there this year. My boys swam almost every day. Of the ten days we had highs: 1 day 50's, 7 days 70's, 2 days 80's. No rain, but a small amount of mist/sprinkles one morning that ended by around 9:30. There is always one water park open, the other will be closed for refurb. We rode Space Mountain several times over two days at MK and never waited longer than 10 minutes, a couple of times were walk-ons. It was that way for just about everything in all the parks, except Test Track. RnRC averaged from a walk on to about a 10 minute wait, and TOT was maybe 15 and once we walked onto it as well. I wouldn't hesitate to go at that time of year again if I had the opportunity.

Feb. 8 is Mardi Gras and many New Orleanians descend upon WDW the weekend before and during the week of MG. I'll be among them! Good luck!
