Hello All!!!! I am getting married  February 21, 2009 and my fiance and I are thinking about being disneymooners. :) We are excited!! :rotfl: However, it has been some time since I have had the pleasure of going to WDW and so i was needing a little help. I was wondering if you Disney goers could tell me how crowded the parks are around the middle to end of February and the beginning of March. Also, where are the best places to stay for honeymoons and how do we go about gettin the cute little ears and having them in our rooms? A ton of questions I know so anything will help! Thanks so much!!!!

Christy :cutie:

welcome! we have been to the parks in mid march and they really weren't that crowded. It was cool in the evening though by florida standards. the ears can be purchased at WDW or ordered ahead of time I suppose. Make sure you ask for the just married buttons at guest services too! depending on your $ you could choose any resort. Best of luck and happy planning.:goodvibes Happy HM!

the weather is still nice that time of year! :thumbsup2

we stayed at wilderness lodge that our favorite  , i also like animal kingdom lodge, or a little cheaper port orleans french quarter/riverside.

the parks generally aren't that bad the only thing is you start going into higher $ season at end of february and i guess people up north have something called winter break :confused3 which is usually the second to last week of feb (per my dh)

we changed our wedding fr end of feb to beginning of feb to save alot of money if you go on disney website :surfweb: they will tell you the value season, and high sesaon what days actually they are.
hope this helps congrats and best wishes
oh we ordered our ears through disney over the phone before we left and had them sent to our house it was $42 for both of our ears, actually that was cheaper than ebay, disney has a shopping phone number to order through.

Thanks so much for all the help!! Those were great tips :woohoo: I know it is a year away but I am getting excited already! :goodvibes Thanks again!!

Feb is school vacation week! Lots of families on vaca, so super busy! Then it gets super busy again around Easter, so Id avoid that as well!

We actually changed our wedding date AFTER Disney sent our Save the Dates because we'd heard horror stories about President's Day Weekend at WDW (it's the second most popular holiday after Christmas) and because the prices were so high for hotels. We moved from Feb 18 (Prez Day) to Feb 4 and saved a bundle, plus the parks were empty!
:thumbsup2

If that is anywhere near President's day week, I would suggest moving your date. The resorts will be packed with the Northeasterners who get that week off, plus you could be running into Speedweeks over at Daytona(I know a lot of people stay in Orlando/WDW and combine racing and theme parks).

Just fyi:

In Canada most breaks for university students are during the last two weeks of Feb and for reg school during the first two weeks of March. So prices fr here anyway, ususally jump during these times

First off, you're getting married on my birthday!!! :) How cool!

The parks are kind of touch and go that time of year. I've been there on my bday and it be packed. However this year we went to Beach Club & Epcot for 2 days that weekend and it was dead empty. So it really depends on where you are I think. :) The weather is beautiful though!!
