We've never done this before and I'm not sure how it works. I'm guessing it is like EMH and if you don't have the ticket on your magic band, you can't ride any of the rides? Is this correct? We are not big parade people, I have boys that really just love the rides. While I would LOVE the parades and fanfare, I'm not thinking they will. So....where would be a great spot to watch Holiday Wishes if we don't get tickets? (During non-MVMCP nights, is it just the 'normal' Wishes or is it still holiday themed?)

What about the Osbourne Lights? Is this a nightly thing at HS? Or just certain nights? Is this just an area to walk through or is there also a show?

ALSO...what about the Candlelit Processional? I've heard it's absolutely breath taking, but again, it's convincing my boys. If you aren't doing dinner, is there any other way to see this? Is it something outside like a parade?

We've never been during Christmastime before, so I'm excited and will take any tips available!

Actually MVMCP is different from EMH in that you cannot even stay in the park without a party wristband. They do sweeps of the parks. You can't do rides, sit on the curb, buy anything, or use the restroom without a wristband.

You can watch the fireworks from outside the park at the Contemporary, at the TTC or the beach at the Poly.

Thanks! I wasn't planning to stay if we didn't have a wristband, I was just wondering if it was similar, but it sounds like it is more strict. Which, for the price, I guess it should be! :-)

And I'm glad to know I can watch Holiday Wishes with the music piped in at several locations. I just wasn't sure if since it was a ticketed event if they didn't pipe in the music. I know they can't obstruct people viewing the fireworks, but I was hopeful they wouldn't hide the music from any of the above listed places. We've watched them many times from the docks at the campground as well!

Thanks again!

Osbourne lights are every night at HS, they are in the back of the park in Streets of America. I think they start around 6 you can walk through or just find a spot. Not sure where you live but FL can get cold in December, pack warm clothes it will be cheaper than buying them there. We are originally from New England and we froze one year and also swam the same week.

Our favorite time of year to be there. But you do have to pack for any kind of weather!

The Osborne lights are a fabulous rocking light show with great music and snow! It's a big street party, if u go later in the evening the street clears out some and it's alot more fun,
The candlelight processional is also wonderful, if you can't get a standby seat the just hang around right in front of the America pavillion and you will hear most of it.
Christmas is such a fun time to be in the parks!
