Disney ID card questions for current CPs

Hey all!

So I did the college program last year (actually a year ago yesterday was my check-in. Crazy how the time flies!!!) and still have my blue ID card that I used to get in the parks and showed for parking entrance. My question is, other than the expiration date, do they stay the same? Are they still giving out the blue ID cards now? Mine is a bright blue all over the front so wasn't sure if they change the color each semester or anything.

Are you talking about the Disney ID or the Maingate pass?

Over the years the design/look of IDs have changed. The last big change over was in 2011. IDs without photos are considered temporary IDs, so Parking/Security guards are trained to look for a photo, if there's no photo they look at the expiration date.

All WDW cast IDs are the same color. Contractors and Operating Participants have a different color ID card.
