I found this interesting to watch. Seeing that they ship over all of the linens/towels to centralized locations instead of washing in each resort is probably a big boon to efficiency.

I agree! I’m always fascinated by these kinds of large scale logistical operations.

Years ago I took the Backstage Magic tour and we went to one of the laundry facilities and it was pretty fascinating to watch. I liked seeing the machines that folded towels. I remember they said the most common non-laundry thing they found was the tv remote in the sheets, makes sense because people do tend to throw that on the bed a lot.

It really does demonstrate the talent and skills of those behind the scenes. They get no public accolades, but are crucial to our experiences.

Over the years at the mid resorts I have seen the vehicles that transport the laundry in their parking lots, so I figured that there one or more central laundry facilities to service multiple resorts.
