Disney Hotel military discounts

I am looking for some more info regarding the 40% military disocunt on Disney rates. There is a link on the main page of the discussion boards in regards to the subject, but when I click on the link, there in no info aside from SOG and ticket discounts. Does anybody have any clarification on this? Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

Go on the Internet to: Mousesavers.com Then check out the section they have on SOG. Also note that if SOG is sold-out on dates you want, WDW extends deep discounts at other resorts. Good luck!

I found a code on Mousesavers website (code EVU) that was supposed to be a military code for booking at WDW resorts. When I called to book with that code I was offered POP at $49/night. I'm not sure if this code is still good or not. One CM mumbled something about it being expired but another CM said it was still valid. It's worth a shot!

The code EVU is the code that I used for part of our stay in Dec.
It is for active duty military or reservist that has been on active duty during the past yr. It was good until the last part of Dec. I do not know if it has been extended.The code is only good for a certain amount of rooms at each hotel. I was unable to use the code for the last 3 nights of our stay at AKL. This code has nothing to do with the overflow rates at SOG.
