just saw a disney visa discount was announced for april to june stays -- any idea if AP or General discounts for disney hotels will come out soon?

I'm wondering the same thing. I was looking at early June, and there don't seem to be any AP discounts (not even the "standard" 10%).

I just called, and rumor has it the AP discount rates (for 4/5 - 6/16) will be announced tomorrow.

Any idea what ap rTe will be. If visa is 25%, next week general public will be 25% since they always come out a week later. So will AP be about 30%. Just wondering. I had to give up a 40% discount two weeks ago because dad changed his mind and did not want to go. I cried giving up a $215 a night view room at Disneyland hotel. I would and could rebook it I could get it anywhere near that price. But I still can't figure out why it was so low, but I have the paperwork, it was definately $215 for 5 nights. Anyway any one have a guess at what it will be.

I think AP will also be 25%, but will include a FastPass and photo. It seems that's what they've been doing recently.

Could your rate have possibly been the Dapper Day rate?

That's what we paid while there a few weeks ago :)

Just t et you know, I would check in a day or two about the rate. I wrote a thread, about how I got $500 less on a room than if I booked with a cm, by doing it online. So either there rates are not right yet, or I just scored a great deal, because if finally confirmed and I got it for $500 less than they could.

there is no rooms available for our dates anymore -- all hotels are sold out due to Tinkerbell marathon and Mother's Day!
I had this reservation booked back in October under AP with a 10% savings so calling today saved me another 10% and we get the FP and photo perk -- we are happy!

I know Orbitz often picks up these Disney discounts, does anyone when Orbitz picks them up because they aren't showing the Spring discount yet?

It should be anytime now for Orbitz because Travelocity, Expedia, and hotels.com have the special rates showing

Regarding the fastpasses that come with the AP booking, is that one FP per night of your stay or for your entire reservation? If you book 2 nights, does each person get two FPs or just one?
I'm really on the fence now. I was going to stay offsite, but now rethinking it with these new rates...ugh!

i think the FP are one per person for your entire reservation -- so for us an 8 night stay would get us 1 FP each -- it would be super if it was one FP per person per day
i was hoping the FP would be vaild for your entire stay --- hahaha -- fat chance of that happening!

We've used this promo in the past, and it's one per registered guest. There was one time when they offered more than one per person (the first time we used the promo), but I have seen it since then.

I"m so excited to see this! I booked a Premium View at the Paradise Pier for June, and I paid Premium prices. I'll have to call and adjust. :)
