I am staying at the Santa Fe in May, how does the breakfast sittings work, can you choose what time you have to go in or do you just get allocated a time slot when you arrive.thanks
When you check in you will be asked what time you would like to have breakfest- you can choose times for everyday of your stay. Your then given a card for the time you have selected, which you take with you in the morning to the restaurant in the hotel. I think their in 15min slots- but i cant be sure on that. I've found that it seems to be very busy around between 9 and 10, but it depend on the parks opening time really.
At the Santa Fe, I'd advise getting to the restaurant before 8am, if you want to avoid mega-queues for breakfast. It doesn't matter what time your slot is (you will be given a choice, dependant on availability, when you check in) - you can go earlier or later. But as I say, if you go before 8am, it will be a much more pleasant experience !
Elaine is spot on - we always try and get down to breakfast around 7.15 - 7.30, the difference being that at that time you can walk straight in, when you're coming out around 8ish people will be queuing.
We've never had a problem going earlier than our allocated timeslot, I think the CM's are glad to have everyone spread out a bit.
thanks, my two girls are always up by 7 regardless what time they go to bed so i would rather through on some clothes and eat early if it is quite then come back after and get ready. thanks for info.
Recent posts seem to suggest you need to ask when you book into hotel about GMF breakfasts. they used to start at 8.00 so I assume they still do. We booked one last yr for 9.15ish - this gave us chance to go in for EMH for an hour or so then go for a leisurely breakfast after getting quite a few rides under our belt - this is what we're hoping for again at Easter
