If you dont use Disney for your photography, I understand that you get to swap it for a honeymoon shoot. What exactly is that? When do you do it? Can you wear your wedding attire? Is it during park hours? Where do they pose you?

Can someone give me some insight on what it is like?

Thanks

Let's see if I can help. You can do it in any park, but we chose Epcot. In theory, that should've been an extra $50 (since it wasn't at MK), but they forgot to add that in so we got that part free. They usually schedule it in the morning, so it's cooler and the park isn't as crowded. It's almost always done in the World Showcase part of Epcot. I thought you only got a few shots in front of whatever countries are your favorite, but we got photos taken around the entire world, different picturesque places in each. It took about an hour.

You can't wear your wedding clothes. I wore a white dressy tank top and Steve just wore a nice T-shirt, if I remember. I wore tennis shoes with my jean skirt (because I knew there would be walking involved) but he took most of the photos with our sneakers cropped out, which was nice. Our photographer, Bryan Mazur, was AMAZING. If you are allowed to request someone, I would suggest him. We were hot, miserable, and crowded, and none of that comes across in our pictures (our link is in my trip report somewhere near the end; sorry I'm too lazy to look it up; lol!).

In the end, we received an album of several of our photographs (chosen by the Disney Photographic Services), with the option of ordering enlargements or the CD (for $1k!). I hear that now they only offer 2 5x7 in a folio. Yes, only 2. It's a fun photo shoot, however, so if you have time in your honeymoon schedule, I'd go for it. Especially if you're doing the MK shoot, because from what I understand, when I order that CD in 3 years for $100, I can get my honeymoon shoot as well, so that will be nice (unless info changes again, of course ;))

Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions!
