Disney Honeymoon Registry

I am currently registered under the Disney Honeymoon Registry. I found out today that my inlaws might be getting us a condo for the week...if that happens, will we still be able to use our Gift Card, if we aren't staying at a resort? We needed a confirmation number (for reservation) in order to register.

I would assume you have to be staying at a Disney resort since you need your ressie number in order to register.

There isn't any other way to register,we had to wait till we booked our trip. Is any of your family staying at the park,maybe you could register under thier ressie number..

ok I just re read your post lol. So you already have it and registered under a reservation already..hmm I am not sure about that one.

Thanks for your reply. Yeah, we are already registered, and have $ on the gift card. I'm just wondering if canceling the reservation will result in losing the money on the card, or if it would simply cancel the registry. If it'll just cancel the registry, I will cancel the reservations the closest time I can without penalty, and still use the registry until then.
