I didn’t know exactly where to put this but considering I’m on a budget and so are they I’ll post it here.

My best friend is going on her honeymoon to Disney. They are driving from Michigan to Disney at the end of October. I would like to create a box of some sort that will help them or entertain them before/on/during their trip.

So far I made a Mickey Mouse count down from the shower date to the honeymoon date.
Decorations for their hotel window
Mad lib book (she loves them)

Does anyone else have any ideas what would be a life saver, or bordem buster for their trip? I was going to get them snacks and what not but want to do more than just food. I was thinking about pressed pennies but I don’t know if she’d take the time to do it. The last night they were there on their first trip was spent playing Disney monopoly in their hotel room so I don’t know if she’ll want to run around to find the machines. I want to do more than just give them a Disney gift card

How about a cd of disney music?
I have a book called "Drive I-95" which follows aroute 95 to Florida. I love it. If they have something similar for the drive from Michigan I would suggest that

For my son and daughter-in-law I did the mickey bride and groom ears, they get free things sometimes while wearing them in the parks. I added sunscreen and some snacks, a couple of beach towels. They loved wearing the ears. They got free champagne on the plane for wearing them.

I'd second the cd idea. Maybe make a couple of them yourself with a mix of Disney songs and road trip songs? If she likes Mad Libs, maybe a Disney trivia book? Or even one of those Hidden Mickey books. Even if they don't hunt for them actively I've always found them fun to read about.
If they like characters, how about an autograph book? You can find them inexpensively at home. Make sure to pack a sharpie too. On one of our trips, we asked the cast members at the kidscot stations to write "I love you" or things like that in their native languages in the book too!
I think it's lovely you doing this, I hope your friend has a great time!

I was thinking a Disney cd too but with the way phones are now days I figured they could pull up pandora and listen to it then. BUT then I thought maybe they'll need to save their battery and the cds would be a good idea! I think I'm going to hunt down a phone charger splitter for the car.

Loving all the ideas. Keep them coming

Maybe some of the Disney themes reusable bags to pack some things in. I use them for groceries all the time. They just make me happy. :)

A fun bumper sticker or window decal for their car

Make them a Disney Trivia game

Or maybe a "Would you rather?" game..
Would you rather be stuck in "It's a Small World" for an hour or wait in. 6 hour line for A&E?

How about a portable usb phone charger? You can get them for as little as $15-$20 and they don't take up much room. With all the way that the MDE app drains your battery in the parks, it's nice to have a portable means of recharging instead of finding a charging station and having to stay put until your phone is at capacity again.

Besides what folks have already suggested, how about:

* A photo album
* A hidden Mickey guide book
* filtered water bottles
* A small card game and storage tin to play games in their room but is easy to also take to meals while waiting for their food (My husband and I carry a Fluxx deck)
* room scent infuser (they'll be able to associate memories to a smell)
* an autograph book
* postcards
* glow sticks
* rain ponchos
* Disney gift card
* Foot massage lotion for after all that walking
* maps
* matching t-shirts
* frogg cloths

I'm sure I'll think of more ideas later but that should at least be a start.

Jcano I plan on using the reusuable tote as the gift bag! I love mine :) I love the idea of the Disney game! I got to get on that!!!

I got her a cute dress incase they do get reservations for Be Our Guest

Finfan awe man I wish I knew about that before they got theirs already. I showed her them and she loved them but said her man would be sad if they changed since they got their super hero colors.

Marionnette that's a genius idea I never even thought about that! I hate having a dying phone in the parks because then I cant take random snap ****.

Jasperkitty I should have thought of the must needs such as poncho and foot massage lotions!

I knew I came to you guys for a reason :)

My husband's favorite line boredom buster is whodunit books. There is a cheap one commonly found at B&N that has around 100 mysteries they can solve together.

Make up and print in color your own sort of wdw alphabet-style game....
A
B is for black...spot a black car, a red car and a yellow car for Mickey.
C is for Cinderella, who worked in a kitchen, find a billboard with breakfast pictured.
