We go to visit my sister who lives there every couple of years, but Universal parks are my fave although I do like Disney and its waterparks :)

I voted Orlando, even though we didn't visit any other park but Disney Parks on our trip. When the kids are a bit bigger we will venture to other parks. But we liked visiting offsite places to eat and the shopping and we stayed offsite.

We went for two weeks and the second week was a trip South to Palm City where a friend had a place they lent us. Wouldn't go back as it was a seen it once seen it all, but we would still love to spend more time seeing more of Florida especially down in the Everglades.

I voted disney world as to be fair the last 5 trips I havent gone off property. However come December I plan to rectify that by staying offsite and visiting the other attractions. I cant stop saying disney instead of orlando though, i guess it will always be disney for me:)

Disney Disney Disney!

If WDW was on a remote island with nothing else surrounding it that's where I'd be going! (And the way we treat WDW it may as well be! :rotfl:)

Our next trip is 3 weeks long, trying 4 different WDW resorts, and we aren't even 100% certain we'll have a day at Universal yet!

Hiya,

ours is a vote for Florida - going to Kennedy, Busch Gardens, Homosassa state wildlife park, Crystal river, Universal, shopping, gatorland, and of course Disney...

I had to vote "Orlando" as although we are staying in a Disney hotel and it's probably the main reason we are going this year, we do plan to vist the Universal parks, Discovery Cove, KSC, one of the Seaworld/Busch parks and a beach or two along with shopping and eating outside of Disney a fair amount of the time.

So actually it's not really just Orlando even and we would go even further afield if we had more time....maybe next time ;)

Luv Suzy

I voted "Disney" :thumbsup2

Each time I've been, I've done more than just Disney, and plan to do the same this year too. In fact, I've stayed off-site once, and out of 10 days holiday, only did 2 days at Disney parks! :scared1:

However, my favourite days are always Disney days, and although I'd still be tempted by the rest of the attractions, and by the sunny weather, it wouldn't quite be the same for me if there was no Disney.

So... I wouldn't go for 2 weeks and do nothing else... but equally I couldn't imagine going there and NOT doing any Disney... so I've voted Disney. It's the main attraction for me.

We like to relax in our Disney cocoon.

Disney for us, it's our escape from reality :cloud9:

yup....what they said..

disney disney disney..

but no one on this board is surprised by my answer....i've said it a million times before...

if WDW didn't exist, i would never ever ever ever ever ever ever set foot in orlando..

Orlando, I believe our next trip will be spent with as little time in WDW as possible without missing it out completely.
Most of our trip will consist of Universal, Seaworld and Busch Gardens(if we like it). :goodvibes

Our Easter trip could be no Disney park at all. :scared1: which will be 1st time ever. We could possibly get signed in for an odd day but not paying to go in this time. Will be doing SW, Busch, IOA, Uni & Clearwater.
August will then be a Disney holiday with 21 days free DDP.

I voted Orlando holiday, but I really mean Florida holiday. There's so much to do outside of Disney, if I'm spending the amount of £ needed to get there I'm going to make sure I see as much as possible.

This year we're actually spending 22 nights in Florida, 10 of them in WDW, 7 in Key West (love it there) and 5 nights in Orlando (Sea World, Universal, shopping etc). We rent a car too, so even though we're staying onsite for 10nights we'll still go offsite to eat, shop etc, too.

I have said Disney. I do go shopping and eat offsite sometimes but it is a Disney holiday.

I voted disney, we like to stay on site (we love themed hotels) and although we have ventured off to Universal and Sea World our holiday is based around Disney, and I wouldnt go if we werent visiting the disney parks the holiday would not be the same for us!

Orlando - This year will be our 7th time out there and we intend to do loads of "other" things - Kennedy Space Centre, Aquatica and Daytona, which we've never done before and then back to Seaworld, Busch Gardens and the 2 Universal Parks - as well, of course, loads of shopping :rotfl:

Universal holiday :thumbsup2

Done Disney too many times and got bored, but the novelty of Universal never wore off :goodvibes

Voted for Orlando although we usually have 1 week in Disney, 1 week off site and another week at the Beach.:cool1:

I have voted Orlando. Last time we visited, and what we would do as we visited again, is to have a week onsite and a week offsite, so we just do Disney on the second week, as we do not rent a car. I love seeing the other parks, and the restaurants and shops offsite, as well as other offerings in the area. :)

I voted Disney, we do go to other places, Seaworld, shopping, but to be honest, if it weren't for WDW we wouldn't go to Florida, we would spend our time in California.
