Although HGTV has already filmed the episodes for its summer series, My Yard Goes Disney, one contest winner will get the next-best thing — a trip to Walt Disney World or Disneyland and professional design advice from Disney experts.

Viewers can enter HGTV’s Inspiration Vacation Sweepstakes once per day at hgtv.com/makemyyarddisney through 9 a.m. ET July 18.

The grand prize is a four-night, five-day vacation to one of the Disney resorts, and the winner chooses which coast to visit. The prize includes round-trip air fare for four, a stay at a deluxe Disney hotel, four five-day Park Hopper tickets, a Disney VIP tour guide for 8 hours, and a $250 Disney gift card.

Plus, the winner will meet with a Disney horticulturalist and a Disney Imagineer to find out how to bring some of the Disney magic home.

I saw this on their website last night. I'm not as thrilled about the make-overs on this show, as I guess I was hoping they would show us how to transform a yard with accents of Disney, which can be copied by other families (flower groupings, how to mine for ideas from Disney, small design features that make the park landscapes pop, using everyday items/craft store items to recreate Disney park decorations, etc).

Unfortunately if it involves a crane, I'm not likely to copy their ideas

To me, the yards look a bit ostentatious.
