Tueday, Nov 18th - Day 5

Cast:

Dave, Freda, Devon, Mick and Rene'

Had toast for breakfast in room, still got to bus stop 15-30 late.

Got through the gates and saw some characters, Gheppeto, Pinochio and Mickey Mouse. Cruised through Tommorwland path to Fantasyland. Look it's the BIG CHEESE himself, no not Mickey again...........Michael Eisner! He must have been doing a promo/blurb for Mickey's birthday at MK. I was going to take a picture but the lights around him were glaring. Onward.

Our only goal was to hop on anything that did not have a long line. We did great. Tea cups, Pooh, Dumbo, Carousel, fast passed Peter Pan and did Snow white then Mickey's Philharmagic. Fun but I think I've seen too many 3 or 4 D shows at USF. Didn't feel the need to do it again. Got back to Peter Pan. Fast Pass is GREAT, use it. Last but not least we went on Small World. The older kids didn't say too much, but the ride stopped for quite a while. After, they said "never agian"!! Ha!

We had an early lunch on the way to tomorrowland. Stopped at Cosmic Ray's. I can't believe I have never been here. Used 3 vouchers here............1 rotisserie chicken, 1 chicken strips, 1 burger meal. They let me come back for the ice cream so it wouldn't melt. Good, but nothing to write home about. I know I saved some $ with the vouchers.

On to Tomorrowland. We split up here. The older kids and Dad got fast passes for space and rode that twice. I got fast passes for Buzz. Did that once and the second time with all of us. I got 54,900 points the first time, second time only 24,000. Strange! Had fun though. Rene' and I also did TTA. I love this nothing of a ride.........just our speed. Mick and Devon didn't want to leave space but we pressed on to Haunted Mansion and Goofy's cowboy singing thing.....I called it Goof Jam. Cute but LOUD. None of the parents got into it. No wonder kids always plug their ears.

After this we decide to wait for the parade to begin. We found a nice bench by Pecos Bill's. And the kids found the candy shop  . Bought a few of those big lolly-pops. I kept staring at Pecos Bill's and asked Dave if he was hungry enough to help me eat a meal. Sure! We had that chicken wrap, coke (huge, watered all 5 of us) and fries with CHOCOLATE CREAM PIE!! No touchy on the pie or your a gonner. That was a major rule.........no dessert till everything else is eaten. Mick finished off the fries, I started in on the chicken wrap while Dave took Rene' to the bathroom. I really enjoyed this.........it was on the verge of a cobb salad in a tortilla wrap............so good. Dave returned and tood and bite and I never got it back. I took my time drooling over the pie waiting for him to lick his lips from the wrap. Hurry it up, people are starting to stare at MY pie!! It was DE-LISH! Devon, still the chocoholic helped me eat this. Worth every penny of that voucher!!

Loved this cute and short parade. Rene' once again was in her Princess heaven. Liked how they had a Walt look-a-like scetching at the beginning to the parade.

Went to spitting camel Dumbo ride. Then to get fast passes for Jungle Cruise. Waited in line for pirates for about 10-15 minutes. Back to Alladin, Dumbo ride. It broke down, so back to Jungle cruise. Love that fast pass. I really could have skipped this, but Dave said, its a tradition. OK, if I have to. Our skipper Rachel was good at her comedic roll and made it bearable. Also did Tiki-birds. Can't believe my older kids didn't mind this at all.............YET!

Headed towards Toon-town. Had to stop for Mick's daily rations of McFries. Kids found a gecko thing. Got onto Barnstormer. This is my speed, but not for Rene'. Dave took her to see Mickey and Minnies house. Rene' then wanted to get Cinderella's (the sacred princess) autograph. The older kids and Dad went back to space and buzz. Had a nice chat with another Mom in line. Cinderella was way to soft and sweet for me. But we got the almighty autograph.;) Ran into Max on the way out.

Back to Fantasyland to finish up the day here. Did Dumbo, Tea Pots, and Pooh again . Then on the way to meet up with the rest of the family we did those raceway cars. I can't believe I have NEVER done these. Rene' was a really bad driver, but we laughed all the way around the track :teeth: .

Met back at Buzz to head towards a spot for Wishes. Loved this!

Dave took the kids back to Movies to swim, while I headed to Epcot. The night is still young. Took the monorail over. I did Spaceship Earth and strolled toward France to find a piece of cheesecake. Good, but waited in line forever - not very efficient here at all.

Wanted to leave before the mass exodus after Illuminations.

Back to room to re-think our park planning. I really thought the kids had way more fun just swimming or going to Typhoon Lagoon than doing the parks. Plus I had 8 plusses to use for FREE! 4 from our last trip and 4 from this one. We'll see.

Good night. Slept like a rock for 9 hours! Nice!

Favourite Disney movie line:

I can't miss you if you don't leave! - Extremely Goofy Movie

Great Day, I love that you can just go off by yourself, and enjoy while your DH lets the children do what they want. Great Team work.

I have always wanted to explore Epcot all alone....sounds great! THanks for writing!

Wonderful trip report ~ Thanx for sharing.
