By the way, I have just rang Disney and spoke to a most annoying person who just kept saying " one time, we have taken the money one time only!!" my lord she was so infuriating!!!!! I am off to see the bank manager *slams door in a huff*
Contact them straight away. Tell them of the problem and the fact that you have now incurred bank charges. They'll be able to sort out refunding your money and then they will request a copy of your bank statement showing the charges, they will then refund the charges if they have been caused by thier mistake.
Your best bet in the first instance would be to get in touch with Disney. They'll almost definitely want a copy of your bank statement (just to prove that you're telling the truth).
They'll then look into it and should then refund you the money and hopefully the bank charges as well.
If that doesn't work, then get in touch with the bank to see what you can do - but I would go to Disney first personally
yes i agree its really annoying the same thing happened me with my credit card on my last trip and i had to wait to book my flights till they sorted it out.
what i had to do was ring disney and get their fax number then get the bank to send a fax of the charge being put through twice. then i had to wait as both my bank and disney said the money hadnt gone through yet so i had to wait for it to go though and then refund it as they said its not possible to cancel it??
hello! did u get this sorted? the exact same thing has happend 2 me! just checked my bank statement and disney has taken the reamaining balance of £260 twice!!
What are Disney upto? If you've seen my reply in the other post regarding this you will know that I am very annoyed with Disney. They are doing this alot at the moment - what are they playing at?
As much as I love DLP, this is my last trip with Disney for a long time as I am sick to the back teeth with them and their terrible customer service.
