Has anyone been to Disney World on Halloween and the weekend following? I've looked at crowd calendars. It doesn't seem super busy but would love to hear some experiences from those who have been there on those days. We are thinking of going next Halloween (which is a Friday) and staying through the weekend.

We are arriving this year the morning of Nov 1 so if you PM me (so I won't forget!) I can let you know.

we were there 2 years ago Oct 29 to Nov 4 and it wasn't that bad. We did however find Epcot busy during the weekend as a lot of locals like to attend food and wine festival but other then that, it wasn't so bad. It was actually the quietest crowd wise that we have experience over the year and we've been in May, July, August, September and October.

We go very year at this time and will be again this year (Oct 29-nov 13). It is not crowded due to Halloween. The crowds are moderate The weekend at Epcot gets crazy due to F&W fest.

I agree with the 2 previous posts, Halloween weekdays will be low to medium crowds and EPCOT weekends crowded. We leave in 10 days and this will be our 3rd Halloween at Disneypixiedust:

We are leaving next Friday and staying the week of Halloween- YAY! Going to MNSSHP on Halloween night. SO excited. Everyone I talk to says the crowds are low during that week and the weather is perfect (especially for those of us who live in the frozen tundra- lol).

not sure if it is true or not but I heard the MNSSHP has already sold out for the 31. I know that yesterdays was also sold out!!

Yes, it has been sold out for a couple of weeks now. We purchased our tickets a couple of months ago. I think the OP is talking about going next year though. :thumbsup2

Update on this years crowds for halloween week. We were there from 10/27 thru 11/3 and the crowds were great, as a matter of fact the crowdest time was the sold out MNSSHP on the 29th. Most of the time the big rides wait was usually around 15 minutes. Weather was real nice except for one day where it rained on and off most of the day, but that did not slow us down:) EPCOT was the crowdest in the food & wine area, and even that was not to bad.

We went 10/25- 11/02 and it was excellent! We went to MNSSHP on Halloween and it was so much fun! The weather was PERFECT too. We were at the pool a few days and comfortable at the parks. We had sun every day- no rain until the day we flew home.
