for anyone who has any ideas, i'm getting married in disney this december and i need some ideas about what to do for a 'guys day out'. There will be approximately 8 guys, and we need something to do...got any ideas for disney the guys way? a few things to note is that only 3 of us golf so that's not an option, but we all like sports. I don't think everyone likes going to the parks either so if any of you know of things to do around the orlando/kissimmee area that would be great! thanks for the help

My guys were thinking about drinking around the world at EPCOT (a favourite activity while we were working down there). Could get seriously messy!

Universal Islands of Adventure is more of a guys park with rollercoasters and stuff. We went there a lot too and the boys always loved it.

Funny, I just posted to another very similar board. If any of you gents are into gaming, there is a place called Disneyquest, you can design your own roller coaster on a computer and actually ride a VR version of it...and there are a number of other rides you can experience virtually..

It is at Downtown Disney and I will sincerely regret not going there every time I think of it until we get back! Our trips to WDW are about 4-1 compared to Disneyland Resort.

You could spend it with your future wife instead, :lmao: I'm thinking DisneyQuest is a good idea!

If they're more sporty:

renting watermice at most any deluxe or moderate resort
parasailing - I think only available at MK resorts
Nascar driving experience at the speedway - definitely more expensive
something at the wide world of sports
golf?

For our "grooms day" we are doing the Richard Petty driving experience near the MK.It's something like $79-$99, depending on discount, for a drive round with someone else and then much more expensive for "rookie experience" and more. We have said we will pay for a drive round for anyone who wants to do it, any upgrades are at their own expense!
Then that night the traditional pub crawl is being cranked up a notch to be a "crawl around the world" at Epcot. Us girls are going along, though I'll be more than happy with a Margurita from Mexico (or two! )

Our guys went to see spring training baseball, obviously this isn't going on in December, but you can check to see what's going on at the Wide World of Sports.

I live in Orlando and if you want a great bar/restaurant/pub environment to hang out in at night to just be guys check out Miller's Ale House. There's a Lake Buena Vista one right by Downtown Disney. My fiance and I go there a lot to meet up with friends. It's VERY popular!! They have billiards and darts too.

Here's their address:
