And perfect for those of us with kids on year round schedules. I'm going to have to seriously consider the Sydney to Honolulu route.

Actually its perfect for kids in grade school in australia and new zealand given its during the long summer school holidays.

Well, but the first Hawaiian and the first South Pacific cruises leave in October. Surely that's not summer, yet.

When are they going to show the detailed itineraries for the repo cruises?

This is perfect for those that don't have kids in grade school
What I learned during these last few years of Covid is that I am a perfectly good teacher.

K- teacher gets a hip replacement after Christmas.... comes back to Covid.

1st- online school with kids who can't read.

2nd - school with masks and 80% of their class is not reading even close to grade level. My kids read to their class mates to help the teacher out.

3rd- teachers strike...... At least they are in school now. My twins are above grade level I have spent a lot of time making sure they did not fall behind.

I decided to take them out of school for 2 weeks and do a surprise Disney World Vacation. I know I can get them caught back up. I guess I am saying is that this cruise is the perfect time for elementary aged kids.

and for people who don't have jobs.
Australians have 4 weeks paid holidays a year, so we can usually swing long holidays abroad quite easily. As for taking kids out of school, you can do that here too. We typically pull ours for a month long trip to the USA, take some work with us but most Teachers prefer them to just do a travel journal.

The itineraries are dull and too short. The only ones of interest are the repositioning ones but one-way flights are just too expensive - almost double the round trip costs :( so that rules us out.
We will most likely just stick to the US/Canada sailings.

I've got prices coming for two of the 4nt cruises but I'm not banking on us going on them, the cost was so expensive.

I was going to say that Australians (and the rest of the world really!) get much better leave than the US.

I’m in the UK and get six weeks plus bank holidays, which is another right days. And I can buy three further days of holiday. So normally I have somewhere between 7-8 weeks off work each year.

I would do the repo in a heartbeat if the flights weren’t so long.
