Hi Everyone!

does anyone know if the 18" doll Disney girl that they sell in the parks, if the American Girl clothes will fit or is she sized just a bit different (as we found out with barbie and disney doll clothes can not share tops as the disney girls are more endowed).

anyhow, DD princess: has Bitty Baby and has been asking for a "big sister" for her and we thought this would be a great souviner for her this trip since it is so close to christmas when we are going. That way family and friends can get some AG clothes for the doll too.

Thanks for the read in info.... happy haunting everyone!

Hi, DD has a My Disney Girl doll and an American Girl Doll. Their bodies look like they are the same size. Disney sells extra outfits for the Disney Girl Dolls. We have an extra Minnie Mouse dress for her Aurora doll. If your family wanted to get other 18 inch doll clothes they should fit. Dresses are more interchangeable as they are less fitted.

They sure do!!

We were there this past summer and my daughter brought her American Girl doll with her and we bought the Disney doll, all the clothes are interchangable and she had a ball switching their outfits back and forth!

:thumbsup2

Thank you! That is what i was hoping...... I do a bit of sewing, and have made the Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Belle and Tink dresses for her bitty baby and i will make them for the Disney doll too,

however, i think i will purchase (from Santa) the snow white and Jasmine (to many small pieces to sew together, (i do need to keep some of my sanity!)

Thanks again!

My girls like to buy the princess outfits made for Disney girls, to dress up their AG dolls for Halloween! They fit great! Bitty has even worn them!

Where did you guys find the Disney Girl doll? I wanted to get my daughter a Disney doll when we were there this past August, but didn't see anything other than plushies. I'd love to get her one next August when we go. She has a fairly extensive doll collection.

They have an extensive selection at the Grand Floridian's gift shop. That is where the "My Disney Girl" tea is held and you get a coupon to use at the shop to get things for your Disney girl (which you get as part of the tea party package.)

We got some things there that day and than I called and ordered things directly or Christmas once I got home. The number to call is printed on receipts.

Thank you so much for the information  . I see a monorail trip in the future!!!

Oh my, I got curious and had to check out this tea...

I smell a trip with my princess when we go next year before she's no longer a little princess. princess: Too bad she'll be a year too old for some of the other events at the GF. She'd have seriously loved these. Bummer!

We had a wonderful time at the tea. It was a mix of girls as little as 3 or 4 and up to about 8 or so. Most girls were dressed in princess dresses but some wore very dressy "regular" dresses. Honestly, I think 6 or so would be the most ideal age because the older girls will appreciate the whole "tea" thing more. Its a very special event and very very well produced.
