Disney Gift Cards to pay for vacation???

I have a few disney gift cards. I cannot book my next trip until September, but I was wondering if you can use Disney Gift cards as payment??

I would call the reservation line and ask to be sure before you order $1000 in cards as policies do change, but I used them last year. It worked out nicely for us as we are required to buy so many cards from school and our trip just about covered our required amount!

i just used them last week! You can get $100 gift cards with a $10 disney store only bonus card at sams club for $98. its awsome!!!

Yes, you can... but I believe I read an issue someone on here has recently..she booked her reservations and had to cancel it. They wanted to refund it back to the cards she used, but she had thrown them away.... It ended up working out in the end, but seemed very frustrating for her! I would absolutly keep the cards until you go, just incase something like that comes up. Even if you dont want to keep the actual card, you could probably make a photocopy with several to a page, just as long as you have the #'s.

Yes you can use them to pay for you trip. Would I go out and buy a bunch of gift cards to pay for your trip? No. Reason being is that if you trip doesn't work out, you can't do anything else with those gift cards except use them for something Disney related. Also, if you wait to long before using the gift card many times there are maintenance fees that get applied for non-use.

I agree with the first part of your post. The second part---Disney gift cards don't have maintenance fees and they don't expire.
