Disney gift cards question

Just left my local Sams where I went to purchase Disney visa gift cards. I planned to purchase them with my Disney Visa card until I got to the register and heard Sams doesn't take visa credit ?!? long story short, when I do make this purchase, is there anywhere on Disney property that will not accept Disney gift cards?

A few of the restaurants and stores don't take them. I just charge everything to my KTTW and then apply the gift certificates to my account. Most places do take them. One I can think of off hand that doesnt is Rain Forrest Cafe at AK.

Last year there was a thread about a DIS-er who bought Wal-Mart giftcards with her Disney Visa, took the giftcards to Sam's and used them to buy the Disney giftcards. She bought over a thousand dollars in giftcards this way and figured up how much she saved. She got the Disney reward dollars on the WM purchase, plus saved a dollar or so per $100 giftcard at Sam's, plus the free $10 giftcard to Disney Store. If you want to try that, you'd have to try it first to make sure your Sam's will allow you to use a giftcard to buy a giftcard.

But, to answer your question, almost everywhere accepts Disney giftcards. I charged some up with cash when we stayed at Shades of Green (no KTTW, no room-charge) and my husband and I used them everywhere for food/snack/souvenir purchases. A few places don't accept them - maybe a couple of food carts, Rainforest Cafe as the pp said, and the carts that do the silhouette art, are ones that come to my mind.
